Uniform
If you purchase any uniform, please ensure that it is RAD approved (see below). This is the uniform used for exams when your child is entered. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are having trouble with finding what you need to buy we can provide links to websites where the correct uniform is located.
Leotards and skirts can be ordered via Miss Rebecca. Please email for prices.

Ballet
PHSD Petals (Age 3-5)
Pre-primary - Primary
Grade 1-3
Grade 4-8
Vocational ballet (intermediate foundation - advanced 2)
Vocational ballet students are required to wear a black leotard. The student may choose their style however for exams ‘criss-cross’ backs and lace will not be worn.
The students may wear a small chiffon black skirt.
The practise tutu and the elasticated waist skirt are worn for Variation 1 and Variation 2 - these will be provided by us for class practise and exams but should the student wish to own their own this is also welcome. Please contact us for guidance if purchasing your own.
Pointe shoes are required for vocational ballet (upon invitation). There are pointe shoes now available to match all skin tones! For more information please email us. ‘
Male uniform
Males are required to wear a white leotard or t shirt with either short sleeves.
Navy shorts or leggings (tights) may be worn. It is recommended that males wear leggings (tights) from grade 3 upwards.
White ballet shoes.
Character skirts and shoes Grade 1-8
Character skirts are required for grade 1-8 ballet.
Grades 1-3 will require the blue character skirt to match the leotard.
Grade 4-8 will require the burgundy, purple and blue.
MODERN AND TAP
For modern and tap classes students are free to wear any leotard colour. For exams, their current ballet leotard will be worn (Marine blue, burgundy or black).
Tap shoes are required for all tap classes.
Black dance shorts or leggings must be worn for modern and tap.
Foot thongs are welcomes for vocational modern students.
